About the IsraelScore™ Index
Methodology:
The legislation affecting the IsraelScore™ of each member of Colorado’s congressional delegation pertained directly to Israel, the Palestinians, Iran, and Jerusalem during the current, 113th Congress (through March 24, 2014).
The legislation was identified through an international affairs online search of the Library of Congress records. All of the senators and congresspersons indexed by IsraelScore™ were provided an opportunity to supplement or modify the online search results.
Legislation pertaining to the celebration of American Jewry, worldwide Jewry, Jewish heritage and culture, and honorifics of prominent Jewish or Israeli leaders, were not counted in the results.
Likewise, legislation pertaining to religious freedoms in the Middle East in general, or Iran in particular, was not considered. For Iran, only legislation pertaining to its nuclear program was weighed.
